Fundraiser Charity Sale

We at In Accessories have long believed in giving back to our community. Dana Henning started In Accessories in 1992 as a fundraising project for the student union at the University of Toronto. Since then, In Accessories has donated funds and new merchandise to many charities, including Red Cross, The Hospital for Sick Children, YWCA women’s shelter, and especially Goodwill and St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation.

In 2004, Dana's mother underwent surgery for the removal of a tumour, which thankfully, turned out to be benign. There were complications during surgery and Dana had made a promise to give back to the hospital if her mother survived. Her mom made full recovery. The Ho and Henning families are grateful for the wonderful care the doctors and nurses have shown Dana's mother. This ordeal and the deaths of three of Dana's grandparents from cancer have made Dana, her family and friends realize how fleeting life is. Dana and the staff at In Accessories are committed to giving back to the community by raising funds for St. Mike’s Hospital and other worthy charities.

Charity work and giving back to the community has always been a part of our culture. We’ve been donating to charity for the past 12 years, and have made donations totaling over $70,000. Proceeds for this upcoming fundraiser sale will be donated to St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation and the Lighthouse Foundation for the Toronto Island Public School.
